Our skin is made up of around 50% ceramides (natural oils) and these keep our skin functioning effectively and remaining healthy. Ceramides diminish naturally with age and can be easily stripped off when over cleansing, exfoliating or simply using products which are too harsh. Nourishing Over-Night Mask is a silky gel-cream formulation rich in Ceramides, fatty acids and Hyaluronic Acid which will replenish and repair tired, dry, dehydrated and irritated skins. Use 1-3 times per week on its own or as the last step of your usual nightly regime.
Hero Ingredients:
Ceramides (NP /AP /EOP) - Emollient. Naturally occurring lipids which improve barrier strength, hydration, resilience and suppleness. Ensures skin barrier functions at optimal levels protecting it from environmental stressors.
Hyaluronic Acid – Antioxidant - A naturally occurring restorative substance within the skin, having the incredible ability to draw in and hold up to one thousand times its weight in water. Hyaluronic Acid binds water to skin cells resulting in the skin becoming more plump, moist, smooth and supple.
Glycerine- Humectant - A replenishing and restoring substance found naturally in skin. Assists in maintaining a healthy look and feel to the skin, preventing dryness and maintaining moisture levels. Extremely hydrating, and works best with ceramides.
