Hero Ingredients:

Salicylic Acid - 

Also known as Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA). Salicylic Acid is an anti-inflammatory / anti-bacterial oil-soluble ingredient helpful in the treatment of acne lesions and congestion. Salicylic Acid ithe only acid able to penetrate into the sebaceous unit. It digests trapped skin cells and excess sebum within the pore as well as exfoliating the surface of the skin.

Bakuchiol -

Considered an alternative to retinol (Vitamin A) without the irritation that some people experience. Found in the seeds and leaves of the plant Psoralea corylifolia. Much like Vitamin A Bakuchiol speeds up the skin cell renewal process, assists in the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, and improves elasticity, skin tone and textural irregularities.

B3 (Niacinamide)- A potent antioxidant. Regulates melanin and oil production, increases hydration, repairs damaged DNA. Repairing the skins delicate lipid barrier preventing both the proliferation of acne bacteria and water loss via the epidermis.

Spirilina Antioxidant which assists in the reduction of acne and cellular repair.
